WATER & ICE

The battlefield is part of the spectacle.

Lapras stands on a jagged strip of ice, with Squirtle in the water below. A bright beam and broken ice shapes make this scene more than a static battle backdrop.

Look closer: Follow the edge of the ice and the direction of the beam. The image shows a surface contrast, but does not establish a damage bonus or a movement penalty.

How to watch the real-time battle footage

  1. Track one Pokémon while an attack effect crosses the field.
  2. Compare the outline of ice with the surrounding water.
  3. Separate visual effects you can see from rules a released build would need to explain.
